Originally a painter who specialized in drawing horses, he began drawing Westerns upon orders from American customers. Zoy still paints Western themed artwork for American customers, but in 2012 started painting abstracts. His Abstract works have become some of his most popular styles of artwork.
Zoy continues to live in Beijing with his wife and son.
