P. Charles’ confident brush and informed anatomical studies combine to create a fascinating glimpse into the wildlife he loves to paint. Charles paints with a lyrical intensity and with a rich unique vision that is all his own.
His popularity began with roosters that he painted with spontaneity and vibrancy. Soon, he captured the essence of florals and foliage from his hometown outside Seoul, Korea. While P. Charles has received a collector base in the United States, he continues to compete and participate in group exhibitions in his homeland of Korea. He is currently a member of the “Korean Sunday Artists”.
