About the Artist
The brilliance of color and composition often presented in classic landscapes and masterpieces of the past inspired my current work. Using the traditional aspects of light, shadow, and color infused with abstract shape and form led me to this current series of modern art. Steve Litvak was born March 17th in Cleveland, Ohio. At the young age of ten he was enrolled into art classes at the Cleveland Art Museum, showing much promise at an early age, he continued to emerge into visual arts. At the influential age of nineteen he headed to San Francisco to attend a four year program at the Academy of Art College where he continued his studies in fine art and textile design. Successful, even before his completion, his work emerged into a lucrative business. Steve has been featured in such hotels as the Aria and the Flamingo in Las Vegas, the Radisson in Aruba and the Sheraton in Atlanta, to name a few. He now resides in Atlanta, Georgia where he continues to paint commissioned art for fine hotels, restaurants and private homes.
