About the Artist
John Young was born in Jilin Province, Wangqing City, China in 1970. His real name is Quan Yong Xu. John Young demonstrated a passion and natural talent in the fine arts as he grew up with his father, Quan Dong Jhi, who was a professor in art. His father’s enthusiasm and artistic talent left impressions on John Young.
Then he started to concentrate on the artwork especially on Impressionism style. Later, he graduated with art major from Yanbien University in Gilim Province, China in 1995. He likes to paint landscapes with misty styles. Sometimes, he also paints contemporary still-life.
He has exhibited his work at Art Exhibition in Shanghai and in Beijing, China in both 2005 and 2006. His family members include mother, brother, two sisters, and wife who is an artist as well.
