About the Artist
The artist’s Chinese name is Chu Li Chi, and his English name is Cui Ji. He was born on January 16th, 1966 in Wangchin, Jirin Providence. He was interested in painting ever since he was a kid, and he pursued his career as an artist by attending and graduating from Enben University. Many of his paintings were exhibited Jirin Art Exhibition and Enben Exhibition, and he was awarded first place in both. His expertise is on painting winery, Italian landscape, European landscape, and coastal views that include architectures. Most of his paintings are impressionistic, and the brushstrokes and colors provide viewers a sense of lively movement and intense color vibration. Many viewers are also often impressed with the paintings’ dynamic composition and mixture of colors and lines. His paintings are very popular in China as well as in the United States. He currently resides in Beijing with his wife and his son, and he enjoys sports, especially boxing.
